More About Taste of Crown Point at Bulldog Park

The City of Crown Point invites the Region to the 2024 Taste of Crown Point!

The Taste of Crown Point returns to Bulldog Park from 5-10 p.m. Friday, July 19, and from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 20.

This event features local Crown Point restaurants offering a taste of their customer’s favorite menu items and free concerts on both nights. Admission to this event is free.

Both days will feature a beer garden, face painting, and more!

“We’re excited for another Taste of Crown Point at Bulldog Park,” Crown Point Mayor Pete Land said. “We hope everyone can come out and enjoy an evening filled with great local restaurants and live music.”

More About City of Crown Point

The City of Crown Point was founded on Oct. 31, 1834, by Solon Robinson. At the time, it was known as Robinson’s Prairie, named after Solon Robinson. Crown Point was incorporated as a town on June 3, 1868, and officially became a city 43 years later on June 6, 1911.

Crown Point is the seat of Lake County and is considered "The Hub," of Lake County.

Currently, the City of Crown Point is home to about 34,000 residents, according to the most recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Our staff works hard every day to, "Build a Stronger Community from Within."
