More About Little Cousin Jasper Festival
In 1973, a group of concerned citizens formed together to raise funds on behalf of St. Joseph College when a devasting fire destroyed their Administration Building. The one-day Good Neighbors Festival was so successful that it was suggested Rensselaer try a weekend long festival to benefit worthwhile community projects. Thus in 1974, the first Little Cousin Jasper Festival was held the first weekend after Labor Day
